The dump is not valid anymore. Hardly five questions from the dump. You need to study hard and must know the acronyms inside out. I passed the exam but that was because of my security knowledge and test taking skills.

I have this file and I have to say that there are QUITE A LOT of wrong answers in this. These have been confirmed y referencing 2 different CAS-002 books, as well as cross-referencing additional sources online. This file is very low quality and I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

The sims that are on the premium were spot on and the 5 or 6 questions were also verbatim. The rest you have to know your stuff. Sorry but I did not check the other VCE's on the site, just premium so I am not sure if questions on my exam were on the free VCE's? If you know your stuff and read a CASP book, then you will pass. Relying on just the VCE will guarantee a fail. These are great practice tests to help you grasp the concepts. But then again, I also have more than 17 years of experience in IT! Good luck!

Just passed the exam bout 45 minstrel ago in virginia beach. Here's what you're going to need to pass:
The 240q premium, the Cert guide by McMillan and Abernathy and the practice exam by other site. I read the book twice, answered all 240 test questions that came with it, answered all questions from other site, answered all 240 questions on the premium, paid for Daryl Gibson's 50 casp questions on his premium site PLUS scoured the Internet for 100 other casp questions. And I have sec plus. With all that there were things on the exam that I had no clue what the answers were!!! But I had enough of a foundation that I pulled out a pass. It was 8 Sims to start it off. The only 3 of the 8 u gotta worry bout are on the premium...the one where you have to configure the firewall acl and 2 where you gotta place equipment in the network to stop attacks. The other 5 Sims were drag and drop/matching questions that u should be able to answer if not get up and leave coz you're gonna fail. 77 questions in all. It was hard but with how I prepared, I knew I'd passed before I clicked 'end'. The premium is a good resource but you'll fail if you solely rely on it. There are bout 45 questions on the test you'll never see in any of these dumps. The premium introduces you to the concepts tho....you'll just need to study the systems/concepts in order to be able to pass. It only took me 3 weeks of studying. Yes I read book twice and did all that studying in only 3 weeks coz I studied 8 hours a day. Next up for me is cesspool. Let me know if you have any questions.

Took the exam today and used only premium VCE. I got hammered by 10 sims right off the bat. 77 question long. My cissp exam got cancelled due to east coast weather so I took this because I hear it is very close to Cissp. I attended Cissp bootcamp and that is the only way I passed this test. You have to know CIA, SDLC, Risk analysis etc. As other mentioned don't rely on VCE to pass. This is a good precursor to Cissp. Good stuff to know but easier to obtain because you get to keep your engineer hat on. To pass Cissp, I hear you have to put a Manager's hat on. Good luck brothers and sistas! On to Cissp and CEH then I am done for a while!

Alright alright.... let me give you all an honest update.

I used the following to study:
- CASP (Book) by Sybex
- Cert Guide (Book) by Troy
- IT Pro TV (Videos 2x)
- Premium 240q
- 464q (w/ explanations)

My take:
- 5-10 word for word OR re-worded questions from vce and pdf. I was really surprised i passed! it was hard.... studied for 2 months on and off. Sims weer 50-50 half i never seen but were common sense.
- know your acronyms. no choice but to study. vce files are just for practice and to get a feel cant rely on them alone. Good luck!!! tested last week. PASS.

tested today and wouldn't recommend just this dump to pass....I passed, but i would say only about 10-15 questions were on the test from the NON premium dump...i didn't buy the premium...just the normal dump wont pass you for this test...first ten questions were like drag and drop and fill in network diagrams...

I took the exam on June 27, 2016 and i passed. i Used premium vce file 239q and video study course / test prep. Had 4 sims from vce (1 new sim) and 77 questions had around 50% from the vce file.
This exam is very easy just study.

Only use this dump for mind set of how test is going to be. If you study just the dump you would only see maybe 5 to 6 questions on the test. Reading book and ....IT videos which helped most on passting the test. This dump was just get me in the mindset of taking test.

Took test today and passed. I would agree that these tests are moving away from being able to just study a dump and then pass! Having Experience in the security field helps a lot. I did read cover to cover CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) CAS-002 Cert Guide
By: Troy McMillan; Robin Abernathy, watched all of the CYBRARY.IT videos and just the day before I perused the 239 questions my friend had from premium file and this dump too(SIMS on test were like a few from that file and another on mitigate transfer accept avoid and I saw a few of the same questions or "like"questions). Honestly it was the reading and videos coupled with experience that proved to be the most useful. The 239 dump mostly helped to get into testing mindset and prompted me to relook what type of code correlates to what type of attack(buffer sql fraggle etc) so I could readily notice it. Also when in doubt of an answer I just picked the one that best addressed CIA triad.

This exam has changed. These banks are USELESS. There were 2 questions on ROI and SLE. You get 10 simulations up front and they are not covered here. One of them wants you to get into a CISCO router, conf t and type in the command to block 10.2/24 and 10.3/24 to the server being attacked. Good luck with that. There were only about 10 questions from this bank on the exam. My advise, read the questions carefully. If you do that, you can eliminate 2 immediately, and use common sense with the two remaining. This exam was more like CISSP. It was extremely hard, but I passed.

I got 77 Questions and 5-6 Sims.

Just as Thomas said.
- One sim has like 6-8 place holders and you fill it up using Mitigate, Transfer, Avoid and accept. I honestly had no idea what the question was asking. I either got it all right or my answers were the exact opposite of what i thought the question was asking.

Used the following study guides:
- Sybex Book (Got half way underestimated test. i had no time!)
- Cybrary Videos (Watched twice)
- 239pdf (kinda went over all twice)
- practice tests (Random internet tests)

My Take:
- There were several storage/cloud/networking questions. A lot of Acronyms. 5 math questions and many scenario based questions. It was pretty hard no doubt. I sometimes reread quesitons 3x!. from the 239pdf, i'd say atleast 30'ish were from there. the rest ive never seen anywhere before.

i'll take a break before i retest --_-- Study Study Study!!!
Don't underestimate this test.

Passed - Feb 26, 2016!!! Used premium vce file 239q and video study course / test prep. Had 4 sims from vce (1 new sim) and 77 questions had around 40% from the vce file.

Q7 - Sim
Q14 - Sim
Q19 - Sim
Q98 - Sim
New Sim - Mitigate, Transfer, Accept, Avoid (drag drop match).

The math problems are different so you must know how to calculate them. It was harder than I expected so I differently recommend using additional sources for study for people that are not in the security job profession.

Passed!!! I had 77 Questions and used dump with 239 questions lats update FEB. 2016. However sorry to be a nerve wreck but my exam only had 50% of the questions from dump. 1 different sim provided 4 answers which was mitigate,transfer,accept and avoid. You had like 8 series of questions then you drag the answer to the scenario. And rest of the question that were not on the dump required some common sense. Read the questions carefully that were not of the dump. Additional different simple math question were there as well. Hope everyone passes.

Passed the exam using the 239q dump, only saw less than half of the questions from dump maybe 15-20 total, 4 simulation were given from dump and there were 2 sims I didn't see from the dump.Suggestion, read questions carefully try to understand or guess what they're asking for. There will be questions that are not even related to the exam, and those don't count maybe used to throw you off. Don't spend to much time on one question, just mark it and come back later so you can do the ones you know and get them out the way. Oh I suggest the 239q dump cause it has the sims.One more thing these exams might be adding new question every other month, because they realize people are utilizing dumps to pass the exam. So I wouldn't wait too long.good luck!

This alone will not help you pass the exam. A lot of new questions. The Sims are the same with one new one. Only 14 questions from this dump was on my exam. Study other material. This will help you get into the mindset with the type of questions they ask.
