Greetings All. Just passed the 70-410 yesterday. Passed with a 870. The test was pretty much everything I expected it to be, though they did have a few curve balls for me. I wanna share the Lab Setup of mine for helping more guys: 1). AMD Phenom X4 940 (I think)/24GB RAM/2TB of Disk/Server 2008 R2 (Only full copy of Server I have currently). This is where I did the most server labbing, it allowed for me to have the most number of VMs running. 2). Intel Core 2 Duo/12GB RAM/500GB Disk/Server 2012 R2 (Eval - This was my dedicated HyperV Server). This is for mostly the Hyper-V experience but also for some testing. BTW, I mainly referred to passleader 70-410 vce dumps, which is the best study materials for preparing this exam. Good Luck, all guys, Best Regards!

Also, another handy thing to keep in mind is that, with permissions, the highest permission of the same type (as in two conflicting NTFS or two conflicting Share permissions) determines the user's permissions but the lowest of the two permission types (when considering NTFS AND Share) determines the limits of the user's access.

For example, if a user has Read and Execute permissions and is in a group that has Modify permission, the user will have the Modify NTFS permission. However, if that same user has a Share permission that grants read-only access, he is only going to have read-only access.

Also, there is a question about allowing clients to resolve single-label names that asks what you would do first and the answer is marked as "Create a GlobalNames zone". However, the question says that it is a STANDARD Primary zone. GlobalNames Zones MUST be AD-Integrated, so what you would do FIRST is convert the zone to an AD-integrated zone.

There is also a question about what to do first in order to make a member server the first server in a new domain where the answer is listed as run the PowerShell command "Add-ADDSDomain". Although this is the command to create the first domain controller for a new domain in a forest, a MEMBER server is a server that does have Active Directory Domain Services installed. So the correct answer would be to run the "Install-WindowsFeature" cmdlet (since you would need to run "Install-WindowsFeature -Name AD-Domain-Services").

can confirm this is still valid. Check some answers though. Only 2 new questions but also study ANNETTE as well as I had a few questions from there that weren't on this one

i want to know if anyone has used premium vce for 70-410 and how is it any different from Maya and Kathleen. I am just wondering if premium vce has all correct answers as compared to some worng answers in Maya and Kathleen.

Some quick tips:

There are a few questions I have seen people debate the answers to that I thought it might help to include these things to keep in mimnd:

1. A VHD file cannot be compacted, only a VHDX file can, so on that question, you must first CONVERT to a VHDX before you can compace.
2. The snapshot question that asks what you should do to save space for the snapshot - you must shut down the VM. A snapshot size doesn't change much whether the disk is dynamic or fixed (as it is a differencing disk that only contains the differential data anyways). It DOES, however, save a copy of whatever is currently running in memory to the file because the objective is to load the EXACT state of the machine. Shutting it down first clears everything from RAM, so that saves however many gigs on disk that the VM was using of RAM
3. Group Policy, oddly enough, does NOT apply to groups. Groups work in Security Filtering, but if I have an OU with ONLY Security Groups in it that I apply a Group Policy to, that policy isn't getting applied to anyone. Group Policies ONLY apply to users and machines. That's it.
4. Adding the name of a user or group to Security Filtering does not automatically mean that the policy will be applied to those users. The users STILL have to be a member of the OU to which the policy was linked.
5. You change whether a Group Policy is applied to only users or only computers in the "GPO Status".

I will try to think of some other little tricky things and post them as they cross my mind if anybody finds these helpful.

Passed with 793, do not use this dump alone. Alot of wrong answers. About 25 out of 44 were in this dump. Again study the question and research online what every answer means. Look at videos from CBT nuggets and also Technet. What i did was install Server Core and Install Server 2012 on VMS and carried out most of the questions in a lab environment. I repeat this dump will not get you passed without doing the work in a lab or doing good research. Best of luck

Did this exam today (24 Apr 15) using this VCE and only just passed. Got 737. Done in Ireland. Had 12 new questions and a further 6 questions which were of similar format, but giving different multiple choice answers. The new questions were not to tough. Much the same as this exam.

I think the correct answer is convert. The question references a fixed size VHD. You can compact a dynamic VHD, but not a fixed VHD. You have to convert it first, then compact it.

@Angel premium exam are just the same as regular - they just put stamp on it. I find that sometimes regular once are better. Once i had premium exam ( question answers were without explanations ) while regular once were with explanations. I would not recommend to buy premium as it is the same.

I can see that only user 1 can have policy prohibit control panel so only user 1 will not have access to control panel. Everyone else will. So sum is that only User1, User2 and User 4 can have gpolicy prohibit control penel applied. But, we can see on Group policy properties that there is security filtering that only Group 1 ( read User 1 because it is only member ), and user 3 can have this policy. Q180: also i think this is very wrong. Seems very few people in this planet knows permission this is tricky as always. It is not hard. Imagine under NTFS biggest positive permission wins, and under SHARE bigest positive permission win. Then you compare NTFS and SHARE and permission that is more restritive wins. User 1 is in group 1 and group 2. So we find under share biggest permission = Full Control as group 1, and Read as Group 2. Biggest permission under share is Full control. As far as ntfs permission for user1, Read and write as Group1 and Read as Group 2. So biggest permission under NTFS wins that is Read and Write. So, as i explained final permission is smalles between cumulative ntfs and share. So Share: Full Control against NTFS Read and Write - wins Read and Write. So user has Read and write. Ende. User 1 can: Read files, Edit. Same logic: User 2 has finally share permission Change against finally Read and Execute, so final is restrictive permission between this two. Extremely Valid! I just took the test and scored in the high 800's. Almost all of the questions were exactly the same as the ones in this VCE. There were a few that were on the same concepts as these, but had different answers. Know the concepts, not just the answers to the questions.

I also used Montague.280q and ANNETTE.423q.
The Annette file has better explanations of the answers. Montague and Kathleen have hardly any explanations.

I also studied the CBT Nuggets videos and the Microsoft Exam-Ref book for this exam. They were completely useless in terms of preparing for this exam. :/

Seems to be a lot of questions in this set with the wrong answers. Has this been edited and corrected over time at all? Hoping to take test this week, but it is confusing having the wrong answers.

I passed today with a 718 only using Kathleen's VCE. All questions came from her VCE. If you have time, I recommend verifying answers to achieve higher score. Thanks Kathleen!

I passed the exam Monday 9th March 790, in Canada. Only 40% to 50% of the questions were from this Dump. u need to study hard. here some of the new questions :
