Hi Spark

1) Your network has Lync Server 2010 deployed. You deploy a Mediation Server, and then you configure a voice route that uses a SIP trunk. You create a test user named User1. You enable Enterprise Voice for User1. You need to verify that when User1 initiates calls to external telephone numbers, the calls are routed through the SIP trunk. What should you run?

C. From the Lync server, use the Lync Logging Tool and analyze the trace with Snooper
D. From the Lync server, use the Lync Control Panel to test voice routing in the Voice Routing tab

I answered C. It was like 'From the Lync server, use the Lync Logging Tool' (no comment on Snooper).

The correct answer is D - Look in the Lync control panel and you will se :)

2) Your company has a telephone number range of (425) 555-1200 to (425) 555-1299. The country code is 1. The network has Lync Server 2010 deployed. You need to create a normalization rule for four-digit extension dialing that normalizes extensions to E.164 format. Which two tasks should you perform? (Each correct answer presents part of the solution. Choose two.)

A. Set the translation rule to +1425555$1.
B. Set the translation rule to +142555512$1.
C. Set the translation pattern to match ^4(d)$.
D. Set the translation pattern to match A 12(d)$.

That is B and D - Try to build it in the Lync control panel and you will see :) The A is a typing error

Oh, there was one completely different one. Question itself is same but answers are not same with the dump.

You enable Enterprise Voice for User1. You need to verify that when User1 initiates calls to external telephone numbers, the calls are routed through the SIP trunk. What should you run?

This question's answers were all about 'Test-XXXXXX' things, no sentence at all.

3) File store question

Well, overall, I think recent dumps are still valid but some of answers MUST be wrong while we can't easily find them. Just for covering passing score (700), it is safe for you but need to study hard on 'what is officially known answers'.

Good luck all and see you soon again at 665. ;)

I think I missed this one. There was no 'A' in D and no '^' in C. Answer must be B / C but I picked B / D.

Not sure on following question;

Your network contains a SIP domain named contoso.com. Contoso.com has Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 deployed.
AU client computers run Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Microsoft Office Communicator 2007. You deploy Lync Server 2010 on the network. You need to ensure that all of the client computers can log on to Lync Server 2010 after their accounts are
moved to the new Lync pool. What should you do?

A. Deploy a Lync Server 2010 Director.
B. Modify the Lync Server Client Version Policy.
C. Decommission Office Communications Server 2007.
D. Install Microsoft Lync 2010 on all of the client computers.

B or D? I'd like to pick B though.

4) Your network has a Lync Server 2010 infrastructure that uses Enterprise Voice. You need to enable call park for Enterprise Voice users.
You configure a call park number range. What should you do next?

A. From the Lync Server 2010 Control Panel, edit the Voice Policy.

All right, guys. I have checked myself and will answer like the following ;

1) Your network has Lync Server 2010 deployed. Several users report that they are unable to add more contacts to their Contacts lists.
You need to verify whether the users' Contacts lists reached their limit. What should you do?

C. From the Lync Server Management Shell, run the Get-CsUser cmdlet.
-> although Get-CsUserServicesConfiguration is the correct one

2) Your network contains a SIP domain named contoso.com. Contoso.com has Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 deployed.
AU client computers run Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Microsoft Office Communicator 2007. You deploy Lync Server 2010 on the network. You need to ensure that all of the client computers can log on to Lync Server 2010 after their accounts are moved to the new Lync pool. What should you do?

I passed today :)

I used this http://www.examcollection.com/microsoft/Microsoft.certkey.70-664.v2011-07-22.by.Sam.75q.vce.file.html

only a few mistakes.

For the Call Park question I answered using

A. From Lync Server 2010 Control Panel, Edit the voice policy

What do you think the answer is to the Call park question.

You need to enable call park for Enterprise Voice users
you configurate a call park number range

what should you do next ?

A. From Lync Server 2010 Control Panel, Edit the voice policy
C. From the Lync Management shell, run the set-CsCpsConfiguration cmdlet

The example dump says it C but I am thinking its A

As set-CsCpsConfiguration is a Optional setting

Failed with a 665 today. So close. Missed most in configuration enterprise voice and configuring for external access.

One question not seen before . cant for the life of me remember what it was.

Exam C,Q5 - didn't say "need to assign test users to pool". It just asked What to do next.
